August 19, 2008: Convicted sex offender Jerry Buck Inman plead guilty to the 2006 robbery, rape and strangling death of college student Tiffany Marie Souers.¹ Souers body was found in her apartment, with the instrument of murder—her bikini top—wrapped around her neck.¹

Other Alleged Victims

Insman faces charges in two other rape cases. Prior to the Souers murder, he allegedly raped a woman in Sevierville, Tennessee, and attempted to rape Beth Bates of Rainsville, Alabama.² The victims were ages 28 and 24 at the time, respectively.²
