On June 24, 2008, Jardine Baby Products issued a recall on Berkley, Hilton, Positano, Spindle, and Windsor model cribs sold between January 2002 and May 2008.1
The recall was ordered by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, which reported it had received 42 complaints in which slats on the cribs had broken. Four of these incidents resulted in a child becoming stuck in the gap.2
