Jake Hunter Detective Chronicles is a puzzle adventure game for the Nintendo DS, developed by Arc System Works and published in the US by Aksys Games. It is a localization of the Japanese title Tantei Jingūji Saburō, which is the latest in a long series of detective stories that spans many console generations.

1. The Petty Murder of a Fragile Heart: In Aspicio city, detective Jake Hunter is asked by a friend to investigate a murder in Central Park. He must work hard to discover the killer's true motives.
2. Seaside City Conspiracy: One night, Jake Hunter is called by a hysterical man, begging Jake to investigate the murder of the man's girlfriend, Eva. Jake will find more than he bargained for, as he is led down into darkness.
3. Crash and Burn: Jake Hunter attempts to solve a murder at the Centeri race track, and everyone is a suspect, including rivals, friends, and ex-lovers.

Jake Hunter Detective Chronicles is a traditional adventure game, focusing on gathering clues and evidence, interviewing suspects, and solving mysteries. The stylus is used mainly to navigate menus, and you are given to ability to "think" for a minute while smoking to get hints. The gameplay is somewhat slow, but ultimately rewarding when you solve the puzzles presented to you.
