Isabella Rossellini was born to the film powerhouse couple of Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini. In her early twenties she worked as a model for Richard Avedon, Elle, and Marie Claire. In 1990 she became the face of Lancome beauty products. She held that position for an unprecedented fourteen years.
During and after her modeling career, Rossellini tried her hand at acting. She portrayed characters in such films as Blue Velvet and Immortal Beloved. Rossellini went on to win an Emmy for her work on Chicago Hope, and in 2007 appeared on the NBC comedy 30 Rock.
