Inglorious Bastards

Inglorious Bastards is the name of an upcoming film project by director Quentin Tarantino. The film takes place during World War II and concerns a group of criminals that must battle Nazis to escape to Switzerland. Tarantino reportedly plans to make Inglorious Bastards into two separate films.¹

The Roots of the Film

Tarantino's film takes it name and premise from the 1977 Italian film Inglorious Bastards. The film is, as of July 2008, still in pre-production, although Tarantino has finished the screenplay.⁵
