Hyundai
South Korean auto maker, Hyundai Kia Automotive Group, manufactures both the Hyundai and Kia brands. The world's fifth largest car manufacturer, Hyundai Kia was founded as Hyundai Motor Company in 1967 by Chung Ju-Yung. In 1986, Hyundai sold its first car in America, the Hyundai Excel, which broke sales records nationwide. In 1998 they began a campaign to improve their image by manufacturing vehicles to a higher standard of excellence. Today, the company employs 68,000 people in nations all over the world and brings in over $29.5 billion in revenues each year.
