General Surfing Tips

1. Always wear sunscreen
2. Wear a properly fitted wetsuit
3. Pick a board that you can carry comfortably to the water
4. Make sure you can handle your board in the water, too
5. Make sure the board has a good coat of wax
6. Never paddle out father then you can swim back
7. Check the surf forecast before surfing
8. Get certified in CPR and first aid

4. Never surf in conditions above your ability level
5. Beginners should always wear a leash or leg rope tied to the board
6. Have a safety nose guard to prevent dangerous impacts
7. Never push your board in the water fin first
8. When you fall off the board always remember to stay under for a few seconds and cover your head
