Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow is an American actress, and the daughter of actress Blythe Danner and filmmaker Bruce Paltrow. She got her start with small parts in films like Hook, Malice and Se7en (as Brad Pitt's wife), but her career really took off in the late 1990s when she won an Academy Award for her role as "Viola De Lesseps" in the film, Shakespeare in Love. Also during this time period, Paltrow starred in the films Emma, Sliding Doors and The Talented Mr. Ripley.
In 2001, Paltrow took a comedic turn by playing "Margot Tenenbaum" in Wes Anderson's off-beat cult hit, The Royal Tennenbaums. During the same year, Paltrow also starred in the Jack Black laugher, Shallow Hal and made a cameo in Austin Powers Goldmember.
In 2004, Paltrow starred alongside Jude Law and Angelina Jolie in the sci-fi action film, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. And in 2008, Paltrow played the role of "Pepper Potts" in the Jon Favreau directed Marvel film, Iron Man, which also stars Robert Downy Jr. and Terrence Howard. That same year Paltrow joined celebrity chef Mario Batali on the PBS series Spain On The Road Again.
Gwyneth Paltrow is married to Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin. The couple have a daughter named Apple and a son named Moses.
