Green Day's 2004 album American Idiot was written as a concept album telling the story of a teenage drug user, who is possibly named Jimmy but is referred to as " the Jesus of Suburbia". Over the course of the album Jimmy leaves his unnamed suburban town called "Jingletown" and leads a group of disaffected followers called the "Lost and Found" into the big city. Jimmy falls in love with a girl referred to as "Whatsername" and loses control of his identity and the "Lost and Found." Eventually, Jimmy snaps into conformity, gets a job and returns to "Jingletown."
