Google Earth is a standalone Google application originally developed by Keyhole, Inc. Using satellite imagery, the program allows the user to get an overhead view of any spot in the world. In 2008, Google began integrating Google Street View into Google Earth's functionality, which allows users to change the camera angle and view a panorama of select terrain from the surface level.

Google Earth Plus/Pro

Google also offers advanced versions of Google Earth to users. The Plus package is available at $20 per year and allows for GPS integration, high resolution printing, advanced customer support and increased download speeds. At $400 per year, Google Earth Pro is a version intended for commercial uses. Extra software allows users to make movies, import GIS data and provides advancted printing options.
