Gmail Down
August 11, 2008: According to reports, Gmail users were unable to log into their accounts for over an hour on Monday. Users received a "Temporary Error (502)" message when trying to log in.
Other reports claimed that users who were already logged into their accounts prior to the service going down were able to view the messages in their inbox, but once they tried to send an e-mail they received an error message.
No reason has been given for the service outage.
