Gene Morrill

On March 26, 2008, Gene R. Morrill, a convicted child molester, claimed that he himself had been sexually assaulted as a child by the legendary and elusive creature Bigfoot in an effort to gain leniency in his trial. However, despite his Sasquatch story, Morrill was determined by the judge to be mentally fit for trial and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Morrill pleaded guilty to 20 charges after attempting to solicit two detectives posing as 13-year-old boys for sex online. He had a child rape conviction on his criminal record already.
