Gail O'Grady

Gail O'Grady is an American actress who got her first role on the ABC drama NYPD Blue. O'Grady also appeared in a 1987 Diet Pepsi commercial co-starring Michael J. Fox.¹

On September 4, 2008 EW.com reported O'Grady will be the newest trouble maker on "Desperate Housewives "Wisteria Lane."²

Financial Woes

In April, 2008, Las Vegas casinos Caesars Palace and Bally's claimed that actress Gail O'Grady owed them $160,000 and $75,000, respectively. O'Grady recently filed for bankruptcy for the second time. O'Grady claimed the casinos knew beforehand of the financial hole she was in, but they allowed her to satisfy her gambling problem, anyway. The two casinos were trying to make her responsible for paying off the gambling debt despite her bankruptcy.³
