There are more than 40 vehicles in the video game GRID, and several of them are exclusive to drifting. These drift cars are obviously used in drifting competitions, where players try to spin out as best as possible while maintaining some sort of control with the vehicle. Background

Race Driver: GRID is a racing video game in the same vein as Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. However, the game focuses on just competitions such as racing, rally racing and drifting. The tracks are based on real life courses and championships, in addition to street races. This game was created using Codemasters Ego Engine. Players can become involved in various types of racing from regular circuit based tracks to drift racing depending on your area. The game can be played with up to 12 people. The AI in the game varies in their aggressiveness depending on difficulty level, however they are programmed to take act like real drivers.
