Foxes stalk their prey just like cats do. Also like cats, they often play with their catch before they kill it. If they aren’t hungry, they may even catch mice just to play with, then let them go when they are done.

Overview

Foxes are the most plentiful wild dog in the world. Because of man and other predators, foxes in the wild live an average of seven years. As cities expand into once rural areas, foxes are found more and more in urban areas. Foxes are primarily nocturnal and travel alone.²
