The Fox News Channel is a cable news network owned by News Corp. The station's slogans are "We Report. You Decide." and "Fair and Balanced." It currently leads the cable news market, with an average 3.3 million daily viewers, and was the number six overall cable network in 2007.

The network features a number of prominent shows, including Bill O'Reilly's The O'Reilly Factor, which is the top rated cable news show, as well Hannity and Colmes which features conservative pundit Sean Hannity and liberal pundit Alan Colmes. Other prominent hosts include Greta Van Susteren, Shepard Smith and Brit Hume.

Fox News has been attacked as having a conservative bias when reporting the news, and the perceived bias was the subject of the documentary Outfoxed. Liberal commentator Al Franken also blasted Fox News in his book Lies and the Lying Liers Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right.
