Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest is a Role-Playing game for the SNES. It is often dubbed "Final Fantasy Light" as it was an easier game for younger audiences.
Story
You follow the story of Benjamin who must restore the light of the four crystals to Focus Tower. On the way he meets many villagers that need his help and as you help each town the story progresses and you begin to understand what exactly your mission entails.
Gameplay
Like most traditional RPGs, Mystic Quest is turn-based. It's a short game, about 10 hours worth of gameplay, and is most often seen as a way for people to get used to RPGs. There is an auto-battle feature for your your other characters and if you die the game will ask if you want to re-attempt the confrontation. Strategy is also important in the game as later levels will require you to memorize semi-difficult attacks on monsters and conserve your spells. It is very easy to level up in this game as well as the monsters drop a lot of experience points. There are only a handful of playable characters to choose from that do not stay in your party for very long. The weapons that each character has is also simplistic and there are no upgrades to speak of.
