Dollhouse is a television series being developed for the FOX network. Created by Joss Whedon, the series marks the reunion of Whedon and Eliza Dushku, who starred as Faith on Whedon's series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The series also marks Whedon's return to television following FOX's cancellation of Firefly, his sci-fi follow-up to Buffy and its spin-off Angel.

Dollhouse's premise involves a group of agents or "dolls" whose personalities can be wiped clean and imprinted with new personas, memories, skills and languages. The "dolls" are hired to carry out crimes, play out fantasies and complete various jobs. The show focuses on Dushku's character Echo, a "doll" who begins to develop self-awareness.
