Blizzard has not officially confirmed a console port of Diablo 3, however Vice President of Game Design Rob Pardo noted that it was "theoretically possible"¹ at the WorldWide Invitational Event. He continued to state, "It would have some control changes that I think you'd have to make... But it's probably, of our major franchises, the one that's most console friendly, for sure."² This is contrary to Jay Wilson's statement that there would be no console version of Diablo 3.³ Despite these conflicting statements, Activision, having recently partnered with Blizzard, believes that Blizzard will face immense pressure to create a console version.⁴ Currently, Diablo 3 is scheduled for release for the PC and Mac OS X.
