Deadpool

Deadpool is a character in Marvel Comics. He is a mercenary by trade, and has been portrayed as both a psychotic villain and a mentally-unstable anti-hero. He is most often written around X-Men storylines, due to similar origins as Wolverine (character). He is most popular among fans not only for his snappy and sarcastic dialogue, but also for the unique ability to "break the fourth wall." This refers to Deadpool's apparent awareness that he is a character in a story, and his common practice of directly addressing the reader. It is rumored that Deadpool will be a character in the upcoming Wolverine Movie, and will be played by Ryan Reynolds.
