David Lee Onstott
David Lee Onstott is the alleged murderer of Sarah Lunde, a 13-year-old girl who was found strangled to death in April 2005. Onstott went on trial for Lunde's murder on August 11, 2008.

Lack of Evidence
Due to a lack of evidence in the case, the court has had quite a bit of touble convicting Onstott of Lunde's murder. While Onstott unofficially confessed to killing Lunde back in 2005, the court ruled that there was not enough evidence to fully convict him of the killing.3 4
A Possible Link
Sarah Lunde's brother Alan Lunde reportedly saw Onstott take a beer from the Lundes' mobile home the same night Sarah Lunde disappeared. However, the beer bottle that could possibly link Onstott to Lunde's death was never found.4
