Dark Messiah Elements

Dark Messiah Elements is the latest release in the long-running Dark Messiah of Might and Magic series.

Story

You play as Sareth, a young apprentice who is trying to find the long-lost Skull of Shadows for his mentor. On the way he meets up with various characters and makes allies and foes of many more.

Gameplay

Not quite RPG and not quite an action game, Dark Messiah attempts to combine the two into one game. In the beginning you can choose whether to be a mage, archer, warrior or assassin. As you progress through the game and earn more XP you level-up and gain new skills. Your skill points are automatically allotted by the computer and unfortunately this feature cannot be turned off. The actual battles are all in real-time with no random enemies. Your fighting abilities are dependent on what class you chose in the beginning. Besides conventional weaponry, you can also use the environment to defeat monsters. You can kick a monster into a fire, spikes, or over a cliff and KO him automatically.
