Danny Ware

Football Career
Ware played 35 games in college for the Georgia Bulldogs, tallying 1,510 yards and eight touchdowns. He went undrafted in 2007 before signing as a rookie free agent with the Tennessee Titans on May 2, 2007. Ware was waived by the Titans just over a month later and selected to join the New York Jets practice squad. In December of 2007, Ware signed with the New York Giants and made his NFL debut with the team that season.1
Arrest
The University of Georgia alum returned to Athens, Georgia, for the September 27, 2008, Alabama Georgia game. Ware was arrested the night of the game after he was reportedly spotted standing in the middle of oncoming traffic chatting with a female companion. A breath test administered by police showed a 0.152 blood alcohol level. Ware and his female friend were charged with with pedestrian under the influence and pedestrian in the roadway.2
