Studio history

Their followup album, Discovery, was released in 2001 and featured One More Time, which would become one of their most recognizable tracks to date.
In 2005, Daft Punk released their third studio album, Human After All. It was reportedly created in only six weeks and received lukewarm reviews from fans and critics alike.
Coachella surprise
In 2006, Daft Punk performed at the annual music festival Coachella, which would be their performance in the United States since 1997. Their set included both intricate visual effects and reworked versions of material from throughout their career, to which fans responded extremely well.
Global conquest
Soon after Coachella, Daft Punk announced a worldwide tour named Alive 2007 that would feature the same visual and musical style as their Coachella performance. Their tour performance in Bercy, France was recorded and eventually released as their live album, Alive 2007.
