Crazy Taxi
Crazy Taxi is taxi-style racing game in which you pick up various people and transfer them to their appropriate destinations within a certain amount of time. While you are transferring these people, you are supposed to cause as much damage as possible or whatever task the game wants you to complete. The game has been released on several platforms, and even became part of the greatest hits for the PlayStation 2 and part of the Sega All Stars for the Sega Dreamcast.

Story
The story is based in California and allegedly the city of San Francisco since Sega's headquarters were in San Francisco. There are two different levels in the game, and you have a choice between four different taxi drivers. Each of these taxi drivers have their own skills, such as the best speed or the best controls. The purpose is to gain as much money as possible by doing in game stunts. Depending on the speed that the person in the cab gets to their destination, they will give you a rating of "speedy", "normal", or "slow".
Gameplay
There are three different conditions that you can play under. These conditions are: "three minute", "five minute" and "arcade rules". On the timed games, you drive around the city for the set amount of time earning as many points and money as possible. After the time period pasts, the game is over. However, the time period can be extended based on the rating you receive from the person you are transporting. Eventually, the number of good customers runs out and the game eventually ends.
