Chris Barnett

Chris Barnett, a farm owner in Tennessee is being accusing of beating his dog Lucas and then filing his teeth down almost to the gums. He told police that he did this because Lucas chewed some chicken wire that was around his home and he wanted to teach the dog a lesson.

A neighbor saw Barnett strike the dog several times, and then use an object to aggressively file the dog's teeth down. He then picked the dog up about chest high, said "See, it's alive" and then thew the dog onto the ground. The neighbor called the police.

If convicted of Aggravated animal abuse, he could face $3,000 fine and two years in prison.
