Carolyn Maloney
Carolyn Maloney is the U.S. Representative from the 14th district of New York State. She is a member of the House Government Reform Committee, which is conducting hearings on steroid use in Major League Baseball.

Political Career
In 1982, Maloney became a Councilmember of the New York City Council. 10 years later, she defeated Bill Green to win a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, becoming the first woman ever representing the 14th district in the process. Maloney has been re-elected six times.
