Rhea attended the "New School for Social Research" where she studied stand-up comedy.

She made her film debut with the third installment of the Meatballs film series titled Meatballs III.

Rhea is romantically linked to comedian Costaki Economopoulos. They recently made the announcement that Rhea is pregnant with their first child.
