Carlton Cuse has written and produced for such shows as The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., The Witches of Eastwick, Nash Bridges, and Martial Law. He is currently an executive producer for the popular ABC drama Lost with Damon Lindelof and J.J. Abrams.

Before his current success he struggled in Hollywood as a bit actor in the films Sweet Dreams and Down and Out in Beverly Hills. He also worked as a development executive with screenwriter Jeffrey Boam. The two collaborated on the films Lethal Weapon 2, Lethal Weapon 3, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
