Car Crashes into Bike Race
On June 1, 2008, Juan Campos, apparently driving while drunk, fell asleep at the wheel and crashed his car into a bike race in Mexico. The accident happened about 15 minutes into the race.
37 year old Alejandro Alvarez was killed in the accident and 10 other people where injured.
A picture was taken of the incident. It shows the bicycles and bicyclists being thrown upwards by the force of the impact.
