Burial is the music project of London-based dubstep artist Will Bevan. Bevan, who chose to remain anonymous for years, revealed his identity in a MySpace blog post on August 5, 2008.¹

Studio history

Burial has released two studio albums, the first in 2006 entitled Burial, then another in 2007 entitled Untrue. Both were released on Kode9 Records. His debut album was named "Album of the Year" by The Wire Magazine. Untrue received similar critical praise from numerous other publications, including Metacritic and Pitchfork Media.Burial uses a personal computer to create his music, which has been praised for its relative minimalism and its sampling of simple, every day sounds.²
