Career
In 1996, when Dirks was 10 years old, her parents said if she took up gymnastics they would buy her a puppy. By the age of 13 she turned her attention to the trampoline full-time. In 2007 she won her first title.2 She was the first American female to complete a move called the Miller. A Miller is a double back flip with three twists.
