Background
During a bank robbery at a Hamilton Bank branch, Katherin Shuffield was shot twice in the stomach. She was pregnant with twins at the time. While the bullets missed both fetuses, she lost them both two days after the robbery. Several suspects were named, but the gunman was at large until Kendrick's arrest.
