Early Life

Brendan James Fraser was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 3, 1968. He attended Upper Canada College in Canada. Then he would later attend college at Cornisch College of the Arts where he studied acting.

Film Career

Fraser first garnered national attention for his roles in the films Encino Man and School Ties. He would establish himself as a popular comedic actor in the films The Scout, and George of the Jungle while also exercising his dramatic skills in films such as Gods and Monsters and the Academy Award winning film Crash. He is also the star of the successful Mummy franchise as the adventurer Rick O'Connell.
