Rob Mariano began his television career on the CBS reality shows Survivor: Marquesas and Survivor: All-Stars. While on Survivor, he was given the nickname "Boston Rob" from host Jeff Probst. At the season finale of All-Stars, he proposed to Amber Brkich and they were married on April 16, 2005. The wedding was aired as the two hour special, Rob and Amber Get Married. Together they have been cast on the Amazing Race twice, had their own show Against All Odds and developed Tontino.
