Boredoms is an avant-garde rock band whose music is often referred to as noise rock or sometimes Japanoise. Their last 2 albums Super Roots 7 & Super Roots 8 were released in 2007.

Early History

Led by Yamantaka Eye, Boredoms began their career in 1986 as a dada-influenced performance art collective. Early live performances where notoriously confrontational.

Current Line-up / V∞redoms

In 2003 the band began calling themselves V∞redoms. The line-up has since consisted of drummers, Muneomi Senju, Yojiro Tatekawa, and Yoshimi P-We. Yamantaka Eye has remained the bands frontman and musical arranger.

Recordings

Since 1986 the group has released seven studio albums, ten EPs, 7" singles, several remix and live albums, cassette only releases and albums by side-projects of various group members.
