The Libertarian Party has never won more than one percent of the national vote in a Presidential election, but some observers predict that Barr, due to his high name recognition, could garner up to four percent. In his home state of Georgia, Barr could garner even more support and perhaps tilt the state to Barack Obama, since most predict that those who vote for Barr would have been more likely to vote for John McCain.1
