Bleach: The Blade of Fate is a fighting game based on the popular Bleach anime and manga series. The game includes 28 playable characters.

The story mode is broken up into 5 parts. The game follows the main character, Ichigo, as he fights various shinigami (death gods) in soul society. The opponents are:

There are seven different modes for players:

1. Story
2. Arcade
3. Versus
4. Training
5. Time attack
6. Survival
7. Challenge

All characters have the same set of controls. Players can battle up to three different characters at a time. There are also over 50 cards players can use to customize their character. These cards can be activated during gameplay and will give boosts, heal, or even put conditions on opponenets.¹ Players can utilize the touch screen to execute super moves.
