Blake Fielder-Civil Arrested

Blake Fielder-Civil, the husband of Amy Winehouse, was arrested for allegedly trying to tamper with a witness in his upcoming trial for assaulting a bartender. Blake was arrested in front of Winehouse's home after he reportedly tried to pay victim James King up to £200,000 to retract the statement he made to police. Detectives had been tipped off by the Mirror, a UK tabloid magazine.

June 9, 2008: Fielder-Civil plead guilty to assaulting bartender James King and then tryng to cover up the crime.¹

Fielder-Civil has been awaiting trial since his arrest in November 2007.²

His sentencing will take place at a later date.³
