BioShock is a first-person shooter developed by 2K Boston, 2K Australia and 2K Marin for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3 platforms. The game takes place in Rapture, a failed underwater utopia where the player's character finds himself after his plane unexpectedly crashes into the ocean.

The Xbox 360 version of the game features 51 achievements worth a total of 1100 gamer points combined. A downloadable content patch released on December 4, 2008, added a brand new achievement called "Brass Balls" and additional gameplay options.¹
