Beer Pong

Beer Pong is a drinking game played with ping pong balls, where the objective is to try to get the ping pong balls in your opponent's cups of beer. When a ball lands in a defender's cup, the defending team must drink that cup of beer. There are many variations to the game. For example, if a team plays, it is common for two balls to be used and for the team to try to get both balls into one of their opponent's cups. Some games are played with "re-racking," where players ask their opponents to change the configuration of the cups on the table.

Beer Pong: The Video Game

In 2008, JV Games released the video game Frat Party Games: Beer Pong. The Entertainment Software Rating Board deemed that the game was suitable for everyone above the age of 13 (a "T" rating). After several complaints, the company changed the name of the game to Pong Toss and the emphasis on drinking was removed.¹
