Battle of the Bands is a rhythm video game similar to Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. It does not, however, use peripherals outside of the standard Wii Remote.

Gameplay

In each game, a song is played in one genre for 10 to 15 seconds and then another genre, continuing to switch back and forth. Earn points by beat-matching. Successive matches will launch weapons such as smoke bombs, land mines and flip outs. The more points that are earned, the louder the music will play in the player's selected genre.
