Baltimore Marathon
Part of the Baltimore Running Festival, the Baltimore Marathon is an annual sporting event held in Baltimore, Maryland. The weekend event includes the main marathon as well as a half-marathon, a team relay, a 5K race and a kids fun run.

2008 Baltimore Marathon
Julius Keter, a runner from Kenya, won the men's portion of the 2008 Baltimore Marathon. Keter set a new record, completing the 26.2 mile race in two hours, 11 minutes and 56 seconds. On the women's side, Maria Portilla of Peru finished first with a time of two hours, 36 minutes and 32 seconds.4
