Brief Biography
A high school standout, Art Briles was recruited by the University of Houston in the mid-1970s to play wide receiver. However, after his parents died in a car accident, Briles decided to quit the team and get his degree at Texas Tech University. Briles was recently hired by Baylor University after coaching at the University of Houston for four years.
