Basics
- Army of Two is designed to be played co-op, and works best if you play it with a friend. It also includes single and multiplayer modes.
- Army of Two uses an aggro system that is explained in the tutorial. Whichever player appears to be the bigger threat will draw enemy fire away from the other, allowing them to get behind the enemy and eliminate them quickly.
- Tip: Use of the aggro system is essential if you wish to survive this game.
- Tip: Choose one of the players to be the “Aggro Magnet”. This player will pimp their weapons and get the biggest, loudest guns they can find while the other player invests in stealth weapons.
- Stay behind cover. It’s there to keep you alive. Army of Two does not make a distinction between "soft cover" and "hard cover," meaning a tent will stop bullets just as well as a cement wall. Use this to your advantage.
- Aiming for the head will bring enemies down faster, but will burn more ammo if you’re inaccurate.
- Conserve ammo. There will almost certainly come a time where, if you’re not careful, you’ll be using only melee attacks.
- Some enemies drop ammo bags for primary, secondary and special weapons. Grab them whenever you see them but remember that your partner needs ammo too.
- Blind firing (pressing the “Fire” button from behind cover without aiming) is a good way to gain aggro. Also, it can potentially eliminate enemies and keep their heads down. Be warned, though: it burns a lot of ammo.
- If you ever get lost, use your GPS to get you back on track. It will tell you exactly where you need to go.
- Be on the lookout for a briefcase standing around. Each level has three briefcases. The only exceptions are training/Somalia (which have none) and the last mission (which has two.) The briefcases give you some cash and will lead up to an Achievement for the Xbox 360 version.
Basic Training
- Watch the training video. Pay attention here if this is your first time. Everything you need to know to survive the entire game is provided here.
- Vault over the hurdles.
- Shoot the four dummies a few times each to drop them.
- Double tap right on the D-pad to tell your partner to hold position. If you’re playing with a partner, have them sustain fire on the turret.
- Start moving close to the turret once your partner has enough aggro (when the turret isn't shooting at you.)
- Take the gunner down when you get close enough.
- Tip: Alternatively, if you're a good shot you can simply shoot the gunner's legs until he drops.
- Listen to the tutorial and chuck some grenades through the door of the target building.
- Take down the enemies using cover and aggro and they won’t be a problem.
- Let your partner get aggro on the heavy soldier. Heavy soldiers have tough frontal armor, but are weak in the back. Once your partner has a lot of aggro, sneak around behind the heavy soldier and let him have it. Shooting them in the head is the quickest way to drop them.
- Use the GPS.
- Learn about sniping and pull a co-op snipe.
- Go back to back and take all enemies down. Be aware that there are enemies up on the rim of the pit as well as in it.
- Tip: You don’t use ammo in back to back, so feel free to hold the trigger down.
- Walk around the corner and trip the mine. Your partner will drag you to safety (or you may have to drag your partner.) Drag them around the corner and heal them or cover your partner as they drag you around the corner and fix you up.
- Note: You can shoot when you are wounded and being dragged, so don’t hesitate to help out your partner while they drag you to safety.
- Go back to the gate and mop up any remaining soldiers. Congratulations, training is finished.
Somalia: Streets
- Go straight and climb the ladder.
- Drop through the hole in the floor.
- Go forward and perform a step-jump.
- Tip: Watch out, there are guys at the top who will shoot.
- Pull your partner up and waste the guys at the top.
- Note: Do not chase the enemies into the street. Take them out from inside the building.
- Head out the door and take a right.
- Find some cover and start making your way down the street using the wrecked cars as cover. There are a few other things to use as cover that are better than the cars. The cars have gaps in them that can be shot through. If you see something solid that isn't a car, get behind it.
- Tip: If a car has a door intact, you can rip the door off and use it as a shield.
- Toss a grenade into the building at the end of the street.
- Clean up any remaining enemies. There are plenty of burnt-out cars around, so use them as cover as you advance.
- Watch the cutscene.
- Grab some cover quickly and rip the door off the nearest car.
- Advance toward your enemies and take them out. Use either the shield for cover and advance with it or stick behind your partner and shoot from the cover of the shield.
- If you don't have a shield, use the cars as cover and run between them as you shoot.
- Head through the gate on the left.
Somalia: Plaza
- Go back to back and take everyone out quickly. Again, watch for enemies on the upper level.
- Clear out anyone left in the area, then head to the rear and tear the gate down.
- Clear out the soldiers and kill Warlord Mo’Allim. He’s the one with the golden AK-47 and isn’t any tougher than any of the enemies around him.
- Use the pillars and the furniture for cover. You'll need to keep moving since your enemies here keep on the move and the pillars aren't very good cover.
- Get up close and melee Mo’Allim. His gun hurts, but he’ll ease off or run away if you get too close.
- Tip: Melee attacks work well here, since there’s not a lot of room to get around.
- Watch the cutscene.
Somalia: Back Street
- Co-op snipe the gas tank to blow it.
- Get behind the counters and keep your head down. A lot of enemies will begin flooding the street.
- Advance slowly and cautiously towards the gun turrets.
- Eliminate the enemies in the turrets using sniper rifles. Aim for the legs.
- Do a step-jump when you reach the turrets, then use them to hold off the advancing enemies while your pickup arrives.
- Note: If any of the enemies make it past the turret fire, you will need to get out of the turret to eliminate them.
- Watch the cutscene.
Afghanistan: Drop
- If you are playing co-op, one of you will be controlling the parachute, while the other will be able to shoot.
- Shoot the helicopter down below with your sniper rifle.
- Tip: Aim for the tail rotor and fire until the helicopter starts spinning wildly.
- Use your sniper rifle to pick off as many guys as you can while you’re still in the air.
- Go back to back and waste everyone.
- Note: See the guys running directly at you with no guns in their hands? Shoot them in the chest before they can get close to you.
- Clear out the rest of the area, then head into the cave.
- Use the big rock near where you landed for cover. Be aware that your enemy likes to do this too, so you may need to go around both sides and catch them in a pincer.
Afghanistan: Caves
- Clear out the path and watch out for the turret on your right.
- Have your partner distract the turret while you work around to the side.
- Tip: There are a few hidden explosives around. Use your GPS to find them, then shoot them.
- Use the sandbag emplacement at the bottom of the hill for cover if your partner is advancing on the turret.
- Plant a charge on the missile and get back.
- TIP: Behind the gun turret, there is a small path leading up the wall. Follow it to get the first briefcase.
- Kick down the gate.
- Step-jump up the ledge.
- Clear the room of enemies. There are a few barriers and a couple vehicles about, so use them as cover and work around them to take down the enemies. They tend to scatter, so you'll need to take them out one at a time.
- Tip: Beware of enemies hiding in the tents.
- Leave the room and head to the ledge overlooking a chasm. There should be a parachute there, which you will automatically use.
- Avoid the canyon walls and snipe as many enemies as you can before you get too close to them.
- Note: As soon as you fire the first shot, nearby enemies will be alerted to your presence. Make every shot count.
- If you're on parachute duty, don't bother trying to avoid enemy fire. Just stay away from the canyon walls.
- Note: You may encounter a bug in the PS3 version of the game which prohibits you from using the Sixaxis function to maneuver through the canyon. If this happens, pause the game, go into the options menu and disable the Sixaxis function. This will allow you to use the D-Pad to maneuver.
Afghanistan: Facility
- Go back to back again when you hit the ground. Beware of guys hiding behind the crates.
- Head down the stairs and plant a charge on the missile.
- Go back upstairs and destroy everything you see. There are a lot of enemies here, but plenty of cover to be had. Each landing on the stairs has cover, so try and take out as many enemies above you as you can before you advance.
- Follow the path and take out the heavy soldier waiting for you. Make sure you've eliminated all other enemies first before you take on the heavy soldiers. One of you will need to gain full aggro while the other does nothing, then sneaks around behind the heavy soldier. Be aware that there is little cover at the top where the heavy soldier is.
- Tip: Go back down the stairs if you need more room to get around the heavy soldier.
- Tip: Watch out for more mines around here.
- Use your GPS to find the glowing door.
- TIP: Turn around and look for the path that was destroyed by the missile blast. Go around to the right of it and look for the second briefcase.
- Open the big door and head inside.
- Keep following the GPS path until you find the other soldier, Hicks. Grab a shield if you like and stick to cover. Don’t worry, you don’t have to carry the wounded Hicks.
- Leave the room you found Hicks in and take a left.
- Go to the end of the hall and look to your right for the final Afghanistan briefcase.
- Go back the way you came and continue down that path.
- Clear out the room full of enemies (you’ll know it when you find it.) The trick here is to let the enemies come to you. There will be a seemingly endless stream of them, but they will eventually run out, leaving just the two of you and two turrets. Just stay behind the cement walls and eliminate enemies as they come around the corners.
- Use the crates as cover while you advance on the turrets.
- Head up the stairs and get in the elevator.
- Move through the tunnels quickly and take out the guy in the turret. The corridor is tight here and the covered areas are mostly in the gas deposits. These will kill you if you stay there too long. Move past the gas deposit and there will be a small alcove on each side of the tunnel. Use these as cover while you eliminate the enemies and gain aggro on the turret.
- Note: Your characters will make mention of gas buildup here. If you stay in the hazy area too long, you will begin to take damage.
- Use the turret to clear the hallway to the right. Watch for enemies using the fallen furniture as cover.
- Clear the rest of the hallways and look for the stairs. There aren't a lot of enemies here, but there isn't much cover either. Use the doorways and wall corners as cover.
- Head upstairs.
Boss Fight: Al Habib
- Take out his cronies as you would anyone else. They’re just regular grunts, nothing special. Stay in the entrance corridor to take them out.
- Stay at long range. Al Habib has a flame thrower that causes quite a bit of damage. He also has a shotgun, so close-range combat with him is very ill-advised.
- Have one person gain a strong amount of aggro on him, then get behind him and blast away at his head.
- Trade off being the aggro magnet. This will keep him off balance and may prevent him from advancing on you.
- Move around the structure in the center of the area to keep him at long range.
- Tip: Shoot at his front as little as possible. He is heavily armored and shooting him in the front is a waste of time unless you need to gain aggro.
- Head into the room behind him once he’s dead.
- Plant a charge and clear out.
Iraq: Camp
- Follow the path once the mission starts and look for a pair of tents side by side.
- Get in between the tents and snipe the enemy in the turret.
- Continue advancing through cover until you get to a ladder.
- Climb the ladder.
- Continue down the next path, clearing enemies as you go. Cover is sporadic here, so use what you can find. If at all possible, try and find a point at which the enemy has to go through two obstacles to get to you. This will bottle them up and make shooting them easier.
- Keep clearing until you get to a ledge.
- Step-jump up the ledge.
- Take out the gunner and open up the bunker.
Iraq: Facility
- Climb the ladder.
- Tip: Listen for your guys to start talking about Eisenhower. This is the cue that the first Iraq briefcase is near. Step-jump. Go to the next ladder and turn around. The first briefcase should be there on the left.
- Climb another ladder.
- Take out the enemies as quickly as you can. Cover is plentiful but just make sure not to stand next to anything that is brightly covered. If it is painted bright red or yellow, chances are good that it is explosive. Similarly, if you see an enemy standing next to something painted bright red or yellow, put a few bullets into it to see if it blows.
- Co-op snipe the gas tank.
- Head down the stairs, then take a right.
- Take a left through the door.
- Hurry across the bridge and plant the beacon. There are enemies all around, but don't use your own ammo on them if you don't have to. There is a turret nearby that works better.
- Get in the turret and take out as many enemies as you can.
- Bail out and eliminate any enemies still standing. There shouldn't be many, the turret here has a good arc of fire on the area. Watch for enemies hiding in cover. You may be able to shoot their feet or arms, even if they are mostly hidden.
- TIP: Look for a row of three tents near the turret. The second Iraq briefcase is behind the tent closest to the wall.
- Watch for the air strike. After it, you’ll come across a group of enemies that are dug in.
- Use grenades on the entrenched enemies. If you run out of grenades, run up and melee them. They hardly ever come out of their cover, so you'll have to get up close and personal. You could also try using a sniper rifle to pick them off, but this is ill-advised if you're not a good shot.
- Take out the turret gunner. Usual deal: stay behind cover and blind-fire until one of you has full aggro, then rush the turret and take out the occupant.
- Take the path by the turret and clear the enemies. There aren't many here but cover still helps make things easier.
- Kick down the door of the small building and go back to back.
- Tip: Look for the guy with the rocket launcher and take him out first.
- Head down the tunnel and kick the door open.
- Continue through the tunnels. Check your GPS if you get lost and keep your wits about you.
- Go through the gate at the end and grab cover immediately.
- Use grenades to clear groups of enemies and take it slow while clearing this room. Blind firing is your friend here. It will burn through your ammo, but it is very helpful in keeping you alive while one of you gains aggro. You'll need to gain full aggro and take out one or two guys at a time, so be patient.
- Take out the heavy soldier as normal.
- TIP: Look around for the big crumpled tanks surrounded by metal walkways. The final Iraq briefcase is on these walkways.
- Head back and take the bridge toward the boss.
Boss: Ali Youssef
- Use your GPS to find and destroy the mine.
- Head inside and eliminate anything that moves. There shouldn't be that many enemies in here, so feel free to use a grenade or two on them. If you're low on ammo, you might even want to consider using a pistol to take them out. Just make sure you're close before you use a pistol.
- Continue on and you’ll find Youssef and a heavy soldier waiting for you.
- Tip: Shoot the explosive barrels behind them to make this fight easy.
- If you can’t hit the barrels, just treat Youssef like a tougher heavy soldier. One person needs to gain full aggro, while the other gets behind him. When you’ve got full aggro, let him have it in the back of the head. Make sure to take the heavy out first.
Aircraft Carrier: Drop
- Tip: Consider buying a shotgun for this mission. There will be lots of enemies in close proximity. Due to an abundance of cover, you will most likely be fighting a bunch of them up close and personal. A shotgun will make things a lot easier here.
- If you haven’t already done so, purchase a good sniper rifle and upgrade it a bit. Or even upgrade your m-14.
- Take out as many guys as you can on the way down. It will get painful if you can’t reduce their numbers.
- Go back to back when you hit the ground. Nothing special here, just keep shooting until you've eliminated all of your enemies.
- Avoid the grenades being thrown at you by switching cover often. You'll want to do that through the whole of the aircraft carrier, since cover is plentiful, but your enemy will be advancing through it quickly.
- Keep clearing enemies until a helicopter arrives with reinforcements.
- Tip: Look for some explosive barrels near where the reinforcements set down. Shoot them to take the enemy out quickly.
- Switch on your GPS and look for the aircraft that are glowing green. Head up to them and disable them.
- Head up to the bridge in the control tower and look for the first Carrier briefcase.
- Head toward the aft of the ship and look for a stairwell on the right.
- Head down the stairs and kick the door open.
Aircraft Carrier: Inside
- Grab a shield and take out the bad guys. Using the shield as a weapon here works well since they tend to attack you one at a time (for now.)
- Look for the shutters. Go and open them.
- Head down and clear the room. Use the crates for cover. They are taller than the aircraft parts and reduce the arc from which you can get shot at. Good cover is essential in this area, as you may find yourself fighting a bunch of enemies at once.
- TIP: Look for a row of three bombs. The second briefcase should be in between them.
- Grab the disc drive and look for a ladder.
- Head up the ladder, then do a step-jump.
- Look for a cabinet. Open it.
- Clear the next room and look for another glowing jet on your GPS.
- Tip: Melee is handy in this room since there isn’t a lot of room to swing around. Use it liberally. This is also where the shotgun comes in handy if you brought one.
- Take out the heavy soldier who shows up. There's a bunch of cover around, so make sure you stand behind something tall and keep him in view. If he stays behind something for too long, he will be a pain to take out. Keep shooting him to keep him moving.
- Go through the door you blow up and get in the elevator.
- Watch the cutscene.
- Get back in the elevator.
- Grab a shield and fight your way to the back of the hangar.
- TIP: Look for a basketball court. The final Carrier briefcase should be near the basket closest to the wall.
- Step-jump up.
- Shoot the valve, then go back down and go through the door that just opened.
- Cautiously clear the room. There’s a ton of enemies in here and cover is a bit tricky to find. Get behind a crate, but don't stay there too long. Again, moving in between cover is important since staying in one place leaves you open to pincer attacks. The only exception is if you can find a crate up against a wall.
- Tip: Once again, melee and shotguns will save you here.
- Take out the heavy soldier, using the same tactics as the last. Keep shooting him and don't let him get dug into cover.
- Head over to the missiles when the room is clear.
- Move the missiles out of the way and step-jump.
Aircraft Carrier: Deck
- Make your way to the lifeboat on the other end of the deck as quickly as possible. The clock is ticking and debris is flying your way. If it hits you, you’re done for.
- Dodge the debris by strafing from side to side.
- Take note of where the pieces are falling. If you get hit, you’ll need to do this again, so make sure you change your route if you blew it.
China: Cliff
- Head down the path.
- Co-op snipe the cylinder under the bridge.
- Head down the path and get into the hovercraft. One of your team gets to drive, the other gets to use the gun turret.
China: River
- Head downriver.
- If you're in the turret, use the gun to take out as many enemies as you can. The hovercraft doesn’t have much armor, so you’ll have to work quickly. Aim for the people in the craft and shoot the driver first.
- Haul it if you’re driving the hovercraft. If you dally, you’ll get blown up.
- Keep going until you reach the sluice gates.
- Pull the hovercraft to the wall with the ladder.
- Get off and climb the ladder.
- Clear the area.
- Tip: There are a lot of guys in this area, so keep your head down and use your sniper rifle to pick them off before they become trouble.
- Go across the bridge and take a left.
- TIP: Head to the wall and into the nearby tower. The first China briefcase is on the back wall.
- Turn on your GPS and look for a switch.
- Throw the switch.
- Go back to the boat.
- Drive up to the lock and get out again.
- Take out the soldiers and the heavy. Cover is a bit short here, so stick to the walls and move carefully.
- Turn your GPS on again and look for another switch.
- Hit the second switch and take out the guys that drop from a helicopter.
- Look for and use the third switch to open the gate.
- Grab a shield if you find it and take out the guys that show up. If you can't find the shield, get behind cover and advance slowly. There will be a bunch at once, so try and bottle them up at a choke point or throw grenades at them before they scatter.
- Get back in the boat and continue downriver until you see a small pier.
- Dock and get out.
China: Facility
- Head up the path.
- Jump down, then step-jump back up the other side.
- Clear the area. Use the buildings as cover.
- Tip: This is a tough fight, so use grenades, sniper rifles and explosive barrels whenever you can to make it easier.
- Take a right (opposite the bridge) when you’re done fighting.
- TIP: Head inside the first building and head to the top floor. China briefcase number two should be in the opposite corner.
- Head back down and continue on.
- Watch the two scenes, then fight two more groups of enemies. They will come in waves, so you'll have some time in between the groups. Stick to walls and other tall cover and take the enemies out one at a time.
- Head toward the plant.
- TIP: Take a left at the entrance to the plant and look around a dumpster for the third China briefcase.
- Open the shutters.
- Open the other shutter and take everyone out. Stay inside for maximum cover. You'll need it.
- Tip: Grab the car door if you like using shields.
- Note: Watch out for the turret. Take out the enemies around it first and stick to cover. Blind-firing your way through this will keep you alive the longest.
- Enter the building and clear everyone out. Stick to cover, move slowly and take everyone out one at a time. In the off-chance that the enemies happen to bunch up, toss a grenade at them.
- Step-jump up near the turret.
- Use your GPS to find and eliminate the proximity mines.
- Take out the heavy soldier. Get behind two different pieces of cover and pull him towards one, then hit him in the back.
- Grab a shield and eliminate anyone else. There is plenty of cover, so use it well. Like the aircraft carrier, the enemies here may overwhelm you if you stay behind one piece of cover too long. Keep moving, keep covered and you should be fine.
- Open the shutter.
- Take out the heavy soldier as quickly as you can, then clear the room the same way you have been. Do not let yourself get cornered. There's lots of cover around so keep moving in between them and stay out of corners.
- Tip: Stay behind cover as much as you can here.
- Open the shutters and go back to back.
- Turn on your GPS and look for the switch.
- Flip the switch and head into the next building.
- Pull the lever and you’re done.
Miami: Rescuing Alice
- Buy a good assault rifle or machine gun and upgrade it with as big a magazine as it can take before you take this mission. The S-System or AUG are excellent choices. If you are the aggro magnet, get either the PKM or the M-249 and add as much damage and aggro-boosting capability as you can. If you're not the aggro magnet, get a good silencer for your assault rifle.
- Watch the cutscene.
- Take the boat up to the stairs and bail out.
- Pick off the enemies here with a sniper rifle.
- Head upstairs and open the door once the coast is clear.
- Take out the pair of heavy soldiers and hurry to the other end of the room. There's a ton of cover in here, so you'll have plenty of room to maneuver. One partner gain full aggro, then the other take out one of the heavy soldiers, then work on the other. Don't bother using grenades on them.
- Take cover behind the conveyor belts.
- Clear the room.
- Tip: If you’re playing single, set your partner to Aggressively Hold Position.
- Head inside the gate behind you once it opens.
- Take cover and stay there. This is a tough fight, so be smart and stay safe. Blind-firing will be helpful here since there are a ton of guys to take out. If you need to, take cover behind the seats and take out enemies at closer range.
- Turn on your GPS and hit the glowing switch when most of the enemies here are down.
- Grab the shield and follow the hallway to the back and up the stairs.
- Fall down and push the ramp.
- Head up the ramp and take out the guys at the top. They have excellent cover so advance quickly and melee them or pick at their helmets with a sniper rifle.
- TIP: Go through the office and look for a fire hose with a red sign. Near it is the first Miami briefcase.
- Continue following your GPS until you find Alice.
- Free Alice and head back out.
Miami: Advance to the Office
- Open the shutters and clear the hallway.
- Take out the heavy soldier and his buddies.
- Tip: Be very careful here. The hallway is full of enemies and cover is scant. Advance slowly and carefully. Use the seating and plant potters for cover. Have your partner advance down one side of the hallway while you use the other. Make sure you set Alice down so you can shoot.
- Head for the boat and turn on your GPS.
- Follow the GPS to your objective.
- Head up the ramp and stay in the boat until the enemies are down.
- Clear the building. There are a ton of guys here. Stay behind cover, move slowly and take them out one at a time. Save your grenades for later. All the enemies in here move on their own and stay behind cover.
- Follow the hallways to the control room.
- Use your GPS to find the glowing switch and hit it.
- Stand around until your partner tells you to turn the power back on.
- Turn the power back on.
- Break the door and hit the circuit breaker if you’re playing co-op. If you’re playing single-player, tell your partner to Advance and he’ll do this for you.
- Turn off the power and head back out.
- Follow your GPS to the monorail station.
- Pull the boat up the stairs nearby.
Miami: Monorail
- Enter the monorail and hit the switch in the back to start it.
- Head to the windows and start taking out anybody you see. They don't move much, so they are easy pickings with your sniper rifle.
- Tip: Take enemies out quickly. Some of them have RPGs, which spell real trouble for the monorail.
- Bail out of the monorail when it stops.
Miami: Office
- Clear out the guys in front of the office, then head inside. Use the plant potters and walls for cover.
- Start clearing out the lobby. There are also a ton of guys in here and your ammo will run low, so choose your shots carefully. Don't bother with grenades since all of the enemies move solo and stick to cover. Have your partner gain full aggro, then run up and quickly eliminate as many guys as you can, then dive for cover.
- Head to the elevator. You’ll find it’s powerless, so you’ll need to head upstairs to fix it.
- Advance up the stairs and clear ALL of the floors. Doing so now will save you trouble later. Stick to the inner wall (the short wall that faces the entrance) for cover and move around it to take everyone out. The objects around this wall will give you decent cover while robbing the enemy of theirs.
- Tip: There’s a shield on one of the upper floors. Use it if you want, but it's not necessary.
- Follow your GPS to the elevator control room.
- Take out the guard and turn the power back on.
- Head up to the third floor and around to the far side to grab the last briefcase.
- Achievement: “My Kind of Case!”
- Kill anyone left standing and head back downstairs. There shouldn't be hardly anyone, but if you hear sporadic gunfire, you missed someone. Just find where they are hiding and charge them. Single enemies make for easy pickings.
- Use the console in front of the elevator to enter the code.
- Vault onto the top of the elevator and ride it up.
- Head up the stairs and step-jump.
- Go back to back.
- Tip: Get the guy with the RPG first. He'll be trouble if he stays alive too long.
- Follow your GPS to Clyde.
- Head downstairs and clear everyone out. There aren't many enemies here and there's plenty of cover. Use the pillars and furniture to shoot from and stay out of the main area; a heavy will appear on the stairs and make his way towards you soon.
- Head to the server on the wall (use your GPS if you can’t find it) and download the evidence.
- Do the same with the other servers.
- Take out the heavy, then go upstairs. Have the aggro magnet stay behind a pillar and blind-fire while the other waits at the bottom of the stairs for the heavy soldier to descend. Blast him when he gets the bottom of the stairs.
- Find cover and take out the regulars. There aren't many and they come towards you. The bridge makes an excellent choke point, so just shoot them as they come across.
- Take out the heavy soldier quickly. He walks across the bridge like his buddies, so position yourselves on both sides of the bridge. Have the aggro magnet pull him toward the longer side while the stealth partner waits on the other side for the heavy's back to show itself.
Boss Fight: Clyde
- Stay behind cover and pick off Clyde as he runs back and forth on the opposite end of the level. He stands at the same two or three points every time, so just aim when you know he’ll be and shoot when he sticks his head up.
- Tip: Alternatively, you can rush him, stay behind the barricade and blind-fire him to death. This is not recommended if you are low on ammo.
- Blind-fire if you have to. Clyde’s shots hurt a lot, so stay back as far as you can.
- Tip: DO NOT attempt to melee Clyde unless you are out of ammunition!
- Pat yourself (and if you’re playing co-op, your buddy) on the back! You’ve just finished Army of Two!
