Guide Note:Stepmother Anna Carolina Jatoba and her husband Alexandre Nardoni were charged with the killing of five year old Isabella de Oliveira Nardoni. Isabella was allegedly thrown to her death from a sixth floor apartment window in Brazil.

Isabella died on March 29, 2008 after she was found injured on the grass below her father, Alexandre's, sixth floor apartment. She died shortly after. Her father said he left her sleeping in her room while he went to help his wife with their other children downstairs. He told police that an intruder entered the apartment and killed Isabella.

Police found blood in her room, and a hole in the screen of the window. The autopsy of Isabella revealed that she had been strangled. Neighbors claim to have heard Isabella scream "Stop dad!" Investigators now believe her father and stepmother tried to kill her before throwing her out the window in an attempt to make the murder look like an accident. Fast Facts:
