American Hunters and Shooters Association

The American Hunters and Shooters Association, or AHSA, is a non-partisan organization that consists of gun owners and hunters who support the right to bear arms and hunt, and aim to protect and preserve the environment. AHSA also advocates for gun safety, including keeping weapons out of hands of children and out of reach of terrorists and criminals.¹

The National Rifle Association claims that AHSA propagates a liberal political agenda to ban guns under the cover of a pro-gun organization.² AHSA has publicly endorsed Barack Obama, whereas NRA supports John McCain.^{1 2}
