In November 2007, Amazon.com released the Kindle, an e-book reader with content available through Amazon Whispernet. The Kindle is only available for sale in the United States but is expected to be available in the United Kingdom by the end of 2008.1

Positive Reviews
- BusinessWeek praises the design and easy usability, but has a few minor concerns about the available blog library and e-mail compatibility. Steven Levy of Newsweek found the Kindle very usable and easy to read without the buttons and electronic interface being distracting.

- Robert Scoble criticizes almost every aspect of the Kindle, but focuses mainly on usability issues and the lack of Web 2.0 features.
