Alycia Lane
Journalist Alycia Lane was a co-anchor on the CBS affiliate station KYW-TV (CBS3) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania until she was fired in January of 2008.
Lane filed a lawsuit against her former employer in June of 2008, alleging that the station discriminated based on gender and neglected to protect her privacy.1 On July 21, 2008, TV anchor Larry Mendte was charged with hacking into Lane's personal e-mail more than 500 times and sharing information with a reporter.2

Email Hacked
On July 21, 2008, news anchor Larry Mendte was charged with allegedly hacking into the email of his former co-anchor, Alycia Lane, approximately 537 times and sharing information with a reporter at the Philadelphia News. According to reports, Mendte provided details to the reporter about Lane's criminal case in New York. Mendte co-anchored the news with Lane for four years and was fired in June 2008.2
