Alvin and the Chipmunks is a live-action, animated film adaptation of the classic cartoon show of the same name. The story concerns three chipmunks - Alvin, Simon and Theodore. The chipmunks have a singing group, and the movie highlights all of their many misadventures.

The film received negative reviews from most critics, but became FOX's highest grossing film in 2007.
